The real question isn’t whether there’s a deal, but which deal fits your needs. This page is my honest ranking of the best VPN deals, based on over three years of hands-on testing and 600+ VPN videos on my AllThingsVPN and VPNR YouTube channels.
Each VPN below is paired with its strongest use case, not a generic “best at everything” claim. If you’re still deciding which VPN to get, my Best VPNs in 2026 guide explains the full ranking.

Surfshark One isn’t the cheapest deal on this page, but it gives you the best mix of speed, devices and extras for the money. PrivadoVPN is the cheapest, and my best cheap VPN guide covers more budget options.
NordVPN Complete and ExpressVPN Advanced are the two most expensive deals at $4.49/mo. You pay for bigger security bundles there, not for faster speeds.
How I Tested These VPNs
Every VPN on this page went through the same hands-on process I use for my YouTube reviews. I paid for each subscription myself or tested through a standard customer account.
- Speed: I measured my connection without a VPN, then on the nearest recommended server with each VPN’s fastest protocol, and averaged several runs.
- Streaming: I checked Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer on the relevant servers.
- Privacy: I looked at audits, ownership, jurisdiction and server setup, such as RAM-only hardware.
- Apps and extras: I tested the bundled tools, like antivirus and ad blocking, on desktop and mobile.
- Checkout: I confirmed each price, bonus and refund policy through my own links.
Speed Test Results
Speed retention is the share of my normal connection speed each VPN kept while connected. Anything above 90% feels close to no VPN at all for browsing and 4K streaming.
| VPN | Speed retention | What it means in practice |
|---|---|---|
| Surfshark One | ~96% | Fastest in my tests |
| IPVanish | ~93% | Excellent for 4K and gaming |
| Proton VPN | ~92% | Excellent for 4K and gaming |
| NordVPN | ~91% | Excellent for 4K and gaming |
| ExpressVPN | ~91% | Excellent for 4K and gaming |
| VeePN | ~88% | Fine for HD and most 4K |
| CyberGhost | ~86% | Fine for HD streaming |
| PrivateVPN | ~86% | Fine for HD streaming |
| PrivadoVPN | ~85% | Fine for HD streaming |
| Private Internet Access | ~84% | Slowest in my tests |
Surfshark One kept the most speed of any VPN I tested, which is why it stays my top pick even though cheaper deals exist. The gap between first and last place is noticeable on fast fiber connections.

It’s the fastest VPN I have tested, keeping about 96% of my normal connection speed. In my testing, it reliably works with Netflix (US, UK, JP), Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer.
Surfshark’s no-logs policy has been audited by Deloitte, and its 4,500+ servers in 100+ countries run on RAM-only hardware, so nothing persists across reboots. The One plan stacks these tools on top of the VPN:
- Surfshark Antivirus: real-time protection against malware and viruses
- Surfshark Alert: breach monitoring for your email addresses, cards and IDs
- Alternative ID: a second online identity and email for sign-ups, so your real details stay private
- Scam protection: warnings about scam websites and suspicious links
- CleanWeb: ad, tracker and malware blocking
- Privacy extras: Dynamic MultiHop, Nexus IP rotation, NoBorders mode, Everlink and GPS override
The Surfshark One deal
- Price: $2.49/mo on the 2-year plan, 87% OFF
- Total: $67.23 billed upfront for the first 27 months
- Bonus: 3 extra months free

I recommend the One plan over Starter for its quality-price ratio: for a small step up, you get a full cybersecurity bundle. My Surfshark One review tests every tool, and my Surfshark One+ review covers the bigger plan with personal data removal.
Best for: Households with lots of devices, budget buyers who refuse to compromise on features, and anyone new to VPNs who wants the lowest-risk first purchase.

10. PrivateVPN: Best Deal for Port Forwarding ($2/mo)
PrivateVPN is a small Swedish provider, and port forwarding is its standout feature. Its deal is 85% OFF on the 3-year plan, which works out to $2/mo.
PrivateVPN
PrivateVPN is a small Swedish VPN with easy port forwarding, now $2/mo on the 3-year plan. It suits torrenters, but the server network is small and the best price needs a long commitment.

- 10 devices
- No-logs policy
- 30-day money-back guarantee
- Built-in port forwarding
- 10 devices
- No-logs policy
- Simple apps

The server network is much smaller than the big names, so check there’s a location near you before buying.

Black Friday 2026 VPN Deals: What You Need to Know
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday on November 30. Every VPN on this page has already launched its early Black Friday pricing, so you don’t have to wait for the day itself.
- Now: early Black Friday deals are live, verified October 18, 2026
- November 27: Black Friday, when some providers tweak bonus months or plan tiers
- November 30: Cyber Monday, usually the last big push before prices settle
End dates vary by provider, and most don’t announce them in advance. When a provider sets a deadline, I’ll add it to that VPN’s section on this page.
Should you wait until November 27?
For most people, no. Surfshark One at 87% OFF is the deepest Surfshark discount I’ve listed on this page, and the other top deals have improved or held steady.
Providers sometimes add a bonus month or reshuffle plans closer to the day. I check every deal weekly through Cyber Monday and will update this page if anything gets better.
If you only need a VPN for a week or two
Don’t buy a 2-year plan for a short trip. Use the 30-day money-back guarantee as a de facto free trial: pay upfront, cancel within 30 days and request a refund.
I’ve tested this personally with Surfshark, NordVPN and Proton, and got my money back within 5 business days. Just remember IPVanish doesn’t refund monthly plans, and Proton’s refund is prorated.

- Need port forwarding? → PrivateVPN at $2/mo
How to Claim a VPN Deal
Click the deal link
Click any deal button on this page. You’ll land on the VPN’s official pricing page with the promo applied, so confirm the price matches what I listed before you continue.
Pick the right plan
The 2-year plan (3-year for PrivateVPN) is the best value. For NordVPN, VeePN and ExpressVPN, make sure you select Complete, Pro or Advanced if you want the bundle I describe here.
Enter a coupon code if one applies
Most deals apply automatically through my links. If a code applies, it’s marked on that VPN’s deal page. CyberGhost and PIA don’t issue codes at all, so ignore any site claiming otherwise.
Watch for upsells at checkout
Many VPNs pre-check extras like dedicated IPs, cloud backup or identity protection. Uncheck anything you don’t specifically want.
Pay and start the refund clock
All major VPNs accept card and PayPal, and most accept crypto. Your 30-day (or 45-day for CyberGhost) window starts the moment you pay.
How I Verify These Deals
I verify every deal on this page personally, every week, and more often during Black Friday season:
- Affiliate dashboards: I check each VPN’s partner portal to see the current promo terms from the provider’s side.
- Incognito checkout: I click through my own link, add the plan to the cart and confirm the price matches what I list.
- Screenshots: I capture the checkout page with the discount applied for the individual deal pages.
- Competitor checks: I compare my listed deal with other deal pages to make sure it’s competitive.
- Updates: I refresh prices, plan changes and the verified date at the top of this page.
If a deal changes between checks, I update that VPN within 24 hours. If you ever see a price here that doesn’t match checkout, email me and I’ll fix it the same day.
Frequently Asked VPN Deal Questions
What is the best Black Friday VPN deal right now?
Surfshark One at $2.49/mo with 87% OFF and 3 extra months is the best overall deal. It was the fastest VPN in my tests and includes unlimited devices, Antivirus, Alert and Alternative ID.
What is the cheapest VPN deal?
PrivadoVPN at $1.11/mo on the 2-year plan is the cheapest deal on this page, at $30 for 27 months. PrivateVPN comes next at $2/mo, but you have to commit for three years.
When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 is on Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is on Monday, November 30. The early Black Friday VPN deals on this page are already live.
Will VPN prices drop further on Black Friday?
Possibly, but not by much in most cases. Providers sometimes add a bonus month or change plan tiers closer to the day, and I’ll update this page if a better deal appears.
How often are the deals on this page updated?
Every week, and more often during Black Friday season. If a VPN launches a better deal between checks, I update that entry within 24 hours, and the verified date at the top shows the last check.
Can I combine two coupon codes?
No. Every VPN program I’ve worked with allows one code per purchase, and the deals on this page are already the best single offer I can get you.
What happens when my plan renews?
Most VPNs renew at their standard rate, not the Black Friday price, which can be two or three times higher. Turn off auto-renewal in your account after buying, then buy a new promo plan when your term ends.
Is it safe to buy a VPN through your affiliate link?
Yes. My links take you to the VPN’s official website, and I never see your payment details or account. My commission comes from the VPN’s marketing budget, not your price.
Do these deals work outside the US?
Yes, in most countries. Prices are shown in USD but charged in your local currency, and some VPNs use regional pricing, so the final amount may differ slightly. The discount percentage stays the same.
Can I use a free trial instead of paying?
PrivadoVPN and Proton VPN both have free plans with no time limit. Surfshark offers a 7-day free trial on mobile, and NordVPN offers one on Android. For the rest, the money-back guarantee works as a trial.
My Final Recommendation
Surfshark One is the Black Friday VPN deal I’d take for most people. For $2.49/mo, you get the fastest VPN in my tests, unlimited devices and a full security bundle with Antivirus, Alert and Alternative ID.

The Review
Best VPN Deals
I've ranked the current best VPN deals based on two years of hands-on testing on my YouTube channel, verifying every price personally at checkout every Monday. Surfshark comes out on top for overall value thanks to unlimited devices at $2.49/mo, while I've matched the rest of the field to specific needs like speed (NordVPN), privacy (Proton VPN), and budget (PrivadoVPN).
PROS
- Deep, verified discounts: Most providers are 70–90% off with extra free months added on.
- Transparent testing: I personally check pricing in incognito mode every Monday and screenshot proof.
- Strong guarantees: All providers offer at least a 30-day money-back guarantee, with CyberGhost offering 45 days.
- Honest ownership disclosures: I flag corporate concentration issues, like Kape Technologies owning ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, and PIA.
- Free options exist: PrivadoVPN and Proton VPN offer legitimate free tiers to test before you buy.
CONS
- Auto-renewal traps: Prices jump significantly after the initial 2-year term unless users manually disable auto-renewal.
- Inconsistent audits: Budget picks like VeePN and PrivadoVPN lack the independent no-logs audits that top competitors have.
- Virtual servers: CyberGhost's massive server count includes virtual servers where the physical location may differ from what's advertised.
- Streaming inconsistency: PIA, despite being the cheapest long-term option, has "inconsistent" streaming performance compared to competitors.
