NordVPN’s current 2-year Basic offer is $3.49/month with 3 extra months, so ExpressVPN Basic is currently cheaper at the advertised introductory monthly equivalent.

NordVPN remains a strong premium alternative with a broad security feature set. In my own speed testing, however, Surfshark ranked ahead of both, so I would not choose NordVPN purely because of generic claims that it is automatically the fastest option.
