Surfshark One
The best value VPN in 2026: unlimited devices, Antivirus, 4500+ servers, CleanWeb, Cybersecurity bundle, NoBorders, GPS override, Surfshark Everlink, fast servers in 100+ countries, and watertight privacy.
- Unlimited devices
- No-logs policy
- 100+ countries
- 24/7 support
Since July 1, 2025, watching porn in Georgia has been a lot more complicated. Pornhub, YouPorn, RedTube and Tube8 block every Georgia IP address, and they are still blocked in October 2026.
The state didn’t ban pornography. Georgia’s Senate Bill 351 requires adult sites to verify ages with government IDs or similar checks, and Pornhub’s parent company Aylo chose to leave rather than collect that data.

I work full-time in cybersecurity and have published more than 600 VPN videos over 3+ years on my AllThingsVPN and VPNR channels. In this guide, I show how to reach adult sites from Georgia without uploading your ID, and which VPNs worked best in my tests.

How to watch porn in Georgia with a VPN (quick steps)
Get a reliable VPN
I recommend Surfshark One, the fastest VPN I’ve tested, with unlimited devices. It costs $2.79/mo on the 2-year plan with 85% off and 3 months free.
Download and install the app
Get the official app from the provider’s site or your device’s app store. Setup takes under two minutes.
Enable the kill switch
Turn on the kill switch before you connect. If the VPN drops, it cuts your connection so your real Georgia IP never leaks.
Connect to a server in an unrestricted state
Every state bordering Georgia has its own age verification law, so skip Atlanta, Miami, Nashville and Charlotte servers. New York, Chicago and Los Angeles all worked well in my tests.
Clear cookies, then visit the site
Old session data can reveal your real location, so use a private window. The site should now load without a block page or ID prompt.
Georgia’s porn ban explained: what Senate Bill 351 does
Governor Brian Kemp signed SB 351, the Protecting Georgia’s Children on Social Media Act, on April 23, 2024. Its adult content rules took effect on July 1, 2025.
Any commercial site with a substantial amount of material harmful to minors must verify that visitors are 18 or older. Ticking a box no longer counts. Accepted methods include:
- A digitized driver’s license
- A government-issued ID
- A commercial third-party verification service
Sites that ignore the law face civil penalties of up to $10,000 per violation, enforced by Georgia’s Attorney General.
Aylo argues that making users upload IDs creates serious privacy and security risks, so it blocked all Georgia IP addresses. Its sister sites YouPorn, RedTube and Tube8 did the same, as they have in 25 of the 27 states with similar laws.
Which porn sites still work in Georgia?
I checked the most popular adult sites from a Georgia IP address. Here is what I found.
| Porn site | Available in Georgia? | Age verification required? |
|---|---|---|
| Pornhub | ❌ Blocked | N/A (site blocked) |
| YouPorn | ❌ Blocked | N/A (site blocked) |
| RedTube | ❌ Blocked | N/A (site blocked) |
| Tube8 | ❌ Blocked | N/A (site blocked) |
| xHamster | ✅ Yes, with ID | 🔒 Government ID required |
| Chaturbate | ✅ Yes, with ID | 🔒 Government ID required |
| Stripchat | ✅ Yes, with ID | 🔒 Government ID required |
| OnlyFans | ✅ Yes, with ID | 🔒 Credit card or ID |
| XNXX | ✅ Yes | 🔓 No verification seen |
| xVideos | ✅ Yes | 🔓 No verification seen |
| SpankBang | ✅ Yes | 🔓 No verification seen |
| RedGIFs | ✅ Yes, with app | 🔒 Ondato app required |
Based on my latest checks. Sites change their approach often, so treat this as a snapshot.
The pattern is clear: Aylo’s sites are fully blocked, most others ask for ID, and a few still have no check. Even the ID route carries privacy risk, since few people want their driver’s license on file with an adult site.
Why use a VPN to watch porn in Georgia?
A VPN swaps your Georgia IP address for one from a server elsewhere. To Pornhub, you appear to browse from New York, where no age check applies, so you get full access with no ID upload.
It helps in other ways too:
- Hides your browsing from your ISP: your provider only sees encrypted traffic to the VPN, not which sites you visit.
- Protects you on public Wi-Fi: encryption keeps your traffic safe at hotels, cafes and airports.
- Keeps your habits private by default: no ID upload, no account tied to your real name.

1. Surfshark One: best overall and the fastest VPN I tested
Surfshark One is my go-to recommendation for bypassing Georgia’s porn ban. It kept about 96% of my base speed, the best result of any VPN I’ve tested, so HD and 4K video loads instantly.

Unlimited devices means your phone, laptop and TV are all covered on one plan. The One plan also adds antivirus and alerts if your personal data turns up in a breach, which is useful context given the risks of ID-based verification.
CleanWeb blocks the aggressive ads and trackers common on adult sites. The current deal is $2.79/mo on the 2-year plan with 85% off and 3 months free. Read my Surfshark One review for more.

What I liked
- About 96% speed retention, fastest in my tests
- Unlimited devices on one subscription
- Antivirus and breach alerts in Surfshark One
- CleanWeb blocks ads and trackers
- Independently audited no-logs policy
What I didn’t like
- Smaller server count than NordVPN
- Renewal price is higher than the first-term deal
Get Surfshark One for 85% OFF
+ 3 months free included. Just $2.79/mo on the 2-year plan with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
2. IPVanish: unlimited devices, fast speeds and budget friendly
IPVanish is my second pick for Georgia. It kept about 93% of my base speed and supports unlimited devices, so it covers a whole household.

The deal is 84% off at $2.39/mo on the 24-month Essential plan, plus a 3 GB eSIM data gift. See my IPVanish review.
What I liked
- About 93% speed retention
- Unlimited simultaneous connections
- Good US server coverage
What I didn’t like
- Based in the US, so subject to US jurisdiction
- Fewer privacy extras than Surfshark or Proton VPN
Not sure which VPN fits you best?
Surfshark One is my top pick overall, but you can compare every VPN I've tested side by side in my full guide.
See all VPN comparisons →3. Proton VPN: best for privacy-first users
If protecting your identity matters more than anything, Proton VPN deserves a look. It runs under Swiss privacy law, its apps are open source, and its no-logs policy has been independently audited.

It kept about 92% of my base speed, and NetShield blocks ads and malware. The paid plan costs $2.99/mo on the 2-year plan with 70% off. See my Proton VPN review.
What I liked
- Swiss jurisdiction and open-source apps
- Free plan with no data cap
- About 92% speed retention
- NetShield blocks ads and malware
What I didn’t like
- Costs more than Surfshark One for fewer extras
- Free plan doesn’t let you pick a US state
4. PrivadoVPN: cheapest option and best free VPN
PrivadoVPN is the cheapest VPN I recommend at $1.11/mo on the 2-year plan, with 90% off and 3 months free. Its free plan gives you 10 GB per month, handy if you want to try before you buy.

It’s based in Iceland and follows a no-logs policy. Speeds came in at about 85% retention, fine for HD but not ideal for 4K. See my PrivadoVPN review.
What I liked
- Lowest price on my list
- Usable free tier with 10 GB per month
- Iceland-based with a no-logs policy
What I didn’t like
- Free data runs out quickly with video
- Slowest of my top picks
5. NordVPN: one of the fastest, but pricier
NordVPN will unblock porn sites in Georgia without trouble. But in my side-by-side tests it kept about 91% of my base speed against Surfshark’s 96%, and it costs more.

The deal is 75% off plus 3 months free at $3.59/mo on the Plus plan. Threat Protection and Double VPN are nice extras. See my NordVPN review and the Surfshark vs NordVPN comparison.
What I liked
- Large server network
- Threat Protection blocks ads, trackers and malware
- Double VPN for extra privacy

- Apps for nearly every device, including smart TVs

- Owned by Kape Technologies

Is it legal to use a VPN to watch porn in Georgia?
Yes. VPNs are legal in Georgia and across the US, and adults can use them to protect their privacy. SB 351 places duties on websites; it doesn’t stop adults from using privacy tools to reach legal content.
Pornography is legal in Georgia for adults over 18. The law aims to protect minors, not to ban adult content for grown-ups.
Can you use a free VPN to watch porn in Georgia?
Technically yes, but I wouldn’t rely on one. Most free VPNs are slow, run out of data quickly, and some have been caught logging and selling user data.
If you want to start free, these are the two I’d trust:
- PrivadoVPN Free: 10 GB per month, a no-logs policy and US servers.
- Proton VPN Free: no data cap, but you can’t choose a US state, so it may not always give you an unrestricted IP.
For reliable access, a paid VPN like Surfshark One at $2.79/mo is well worth it.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pornhub banned in Georgia?
Not by the state. Pornography is still legal for adults, but Aylo blocked every Georgia IP address on July 1, 2025 rather than collect IDs under SB 351. It’s still blocked in October 2026, so you need a VPN to reach it.
Which porn sites still work in Georgia without ID?
In my latest checks, XNXX, xVideos and SpankBang loaded from Georgia without verification. Pornhub, YouPorn, RedTube and Tube8 are blocked, and xHamster, Chaturbate, Stripchat and OnlyFans ask for ID or a card. This changes often, so a VPN is the most reliable option.
Is it safe to upload my ID to an adult site?
It always carries risk. Your ID could be stored, leaked or misused even if the site says otherwise, which is exactly why Pornhub refused to collect IDs. A VPN avoids the trade-off entirely.
Why is my VPN not unblocking porn sites in Georgia?
The usual causes are old cookies, a VPN drop without a kill switch, a DNS leak, or a server in a neighboring restricted state. Clear your cache, enable the kill switch and reconnect to New York, Chicago or Los Angeles.
Can my ISP see that I’m using a VPN?
Your ISP can see that you’re connected to a VPN server, but not which sites you visit through the encrypted tunnel.
Does the Georgia porn ban affect the whole state?
Yes. SB 351 applies statewide with no city or county exemptions. A VPN server in an unrestricted state gives you a non-Georgia IP.
What is the best free VPN to watch porn in Georgia?
PrivadoVPN’s free plan is my pick, with 10 GB per month and US servers. Proton VPN’s free plan has no data cap but no state choice. For dependable access, Surfshark One at $2.79/mo is the better option.
Final thoughts
SB 351 leaves Georgia adults choosing between blocked sites and handing over sensitive IDs. Neither option is great for privacy.
A VPN masks your IP, encrypts your traffic and lets you reach adult sites without submitting documents. Surfshark One is my clear first pick: the fastest VPN I’ve tested, unlimited devices, plus antivirus and breach alerts. IPVanish and PrivadoVPN are great budget alternatives, and Proton VPN suits privacy purists.
