EroMe is still restricted in Australia in October 2026. Since March 9, 2026, new industry codes under the Online Safety Act require adult sites to put real age checks in front of Australian visitors, and EroMe chose to restrict Australian IP addresses instead of asking for IDs or face scans.
For privacy-conscious adults, that is frustrating. Viewing legal content shouldn’t mean handing a government ID to a verification vendor you’ve never heard of.

Why is EroMe blocked in Australia?
The block comes from Australia’s Online Safety Act 2021 and the industry codes registered under it by the eSafety Commissioner. IPVanish is a strong option if you want to cover every device at home. I connected through its Netherlands servers and reached EroMe without problems, and it kept about 93% of my base speed.

EroMe’s restriction is tied to Australian IP addresses, so most foreign servers should work. In practice, some countries are faster and more reliable than others.
